Taranee Cao ’19

Instructor in Japanese Language and Linguistics, Earlham College

Taranee Cao attended the IUC in 2018-19 and currently serves as one of the organizing committee members of IUC Alumni Talks. She recently received her PhD in Japanese Linguistics from Stanford University. She now teaches at Earlham College as an instructor in Japanese Language and Linguistics. She is enthusiastic about teaching, and her research mainly focuses on the pedagogy of Japanese honorifics. Outside research, she enjoys practicing the piano, Aikido, golf, and playing bridge games.
